Fountaindale Public Library
Reading. An Adventure Wherever You Are! PDF Print E-mail
Some of our library staff picked out their favorite books and then got their pictures taken in the Studio 300 Video Studio. We wanted to show that reading truly is an adventure wherever you are, whether you are traveling, at an appointment, or at home! We've posted all of the pictures to Facebook. We'd love to see which ones are your favorite. We'll be awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place to our staff! Simply LIKE the ones you like best. We appreciate your help! Voting will end on Wednesday, April 23. Click here to visit our Facebook page.
National Library Week - Food for Fines PDF Print E-mail

Amnesty Week

Throughout National Library Week, April 13-19, 2014, patrons will be able to return overdue or billed materials to a service desk and have fines and unpaid replacement costs waived from their accounts. Please note that this opportunity does not apply to Studio 300 equipment and Nooks.

Food for Fines

The annual Food for Fines program during National Library Week gives you the opportunity to eliminate or reduce your fines. For each unexpired canned, boxed, bagged or bottled non-perishable food item that you bring in, the library will remove $2.00 from your overdue fines up to $20.00. All food items received will be donated to the DuPage Township Food Pantry. Please note, Food for Fines does not apply to the $10.00 fee assessed for patrons whose accounts are currently in Collections.
