New to the Vortex? The Vortex is our unique space specifically designed for teens to read, study or hang out with friends. Teens in grades 6–12 can play board games and video games, use the computers and study rooms or attend events.
If you’re entering 6th grade in the fall or you just haven’t visited yet, head up to our 2nd floor (past the video games and vinyl records) to tour the space. Stop by between Monday, August 15 through Wednesday, August 17 for a brief tour provided by our friendly Teen Services staff. Teens that take the tour will be entered to win a $25 Target gift card.

- Monday–Thursday: noon–8:30 p.m.
- Friday–Sunday: noon–5:30 p.m.
