eBooks and Online Reading

BookFlix
Watch a video based on picture books, or read an easy informational book. Turn on the special "Read Along" function and the computer will highlight each word as it reads it aloud to you. You can even follow up a book with questions, author information, and links to related Internet sites. If you are outside the library, you will need to enter your library card number.

Pindigital (Overdrive)
Download ebooks or audiobooks for children through adults. If you are outside the library, you will need to enter your library card number.

International Children's Digital Library
Read children's books from around the world--online. Many different languages are represented.

ScienceFlix
​ScienceFlix combines curriculum-driven, leveled content, interactive features, and intuitive navigation into a single, highly-engaging digital resource for students in grades 4 through 9.

TrueFlix
Find excellent science and social studies information for elementary school. Students can watch videos, read books online, and find good online resources all in one place. TrueFlix also offers games, quizzes, and ideas for projects. Teachers can find lesson plans and great content for Whiteboards.

TumbleBook Library
Children of all ages can read or listen to books online (or do both and read along while phrases are highlighted on the screen). You can create a playlist of your favorite animated picture books or add easy readers and chapter books to your list of favorites. If you want to download your reading, you can save a classic chapter book to your computer, tablet, or phone in either ebook or audio format. You can also find reading level and AR information, reading comprehension quizzes, and puzzles and games. If you are outside the library, you will need to enter your library card number. An app is available for Apple and Android.
