A: We encourage you to read or listen to books that are appropriate to your reading or grade level.

Q: How do I log my reading?

A: Logging begins June 19. We will have a computer at the Children’s Services Desk just for joining the club and logging your reading! Keep a paper game card if you wish. They are available when you sign up in the library and are printable from our website.   You can bring your paper game card to the library or Bookmobile for online logging. To log your own reading online, click on the tab of the club, enter your library card number, and click Log In. Click the button that says Add/View Log. At the dropdown arrow at Quantity, put in the number of hours or books, and hit Save. You can log in once a day.

Q: What if I lose my paper game card after I have logged my reading on it?

A: Print one from our website, or come to the Children’s Services desk or Bookmobile and we will give you a replacement game card.

Q: Our family is going on vacation. Can we still participate in the club?

A: You can register and log your reading online while on vacation as described above, or you can get paper game cards from our website, the Children’s Services Desk, or the Bookmobile. When you return from vacation, through August 4, we can log your reading for you from your paper game card and give you your prizes.

A: After reading 10 books or for 10 hours, you will receive a paperback book. Read 10 more books or hours to complete the club and you will earn a second prize.   Pick up your prizes at the Children’s Services Desk or the Bookmobile beginning June 25. You will also receive a Certificate of Accomplishment when you complete the club.

Q: After I complete the basic club, can I continue in the club for the rest of the summer?
