Q: How does my child join the club?
A: Register at the library, Bookmobile, or online. A Fountaindale library card is required.
Q: How do I log my child’s reading time?
A: Keep a paper game card or sign up online and follow the instructions to log your child’s reading. You can bring the paper game card to the library or Bookmobile for logging. Download a paper gamecard here. (Note: game cards are formatted for 8.5" x 14" legal sized paper. If printing on 8.5" x 11", please choose "fit to printable area" from the print dialog box in Adobe Reader).
Q: What if we lose the paper game card after logging reading on it?
A: Come to the Children’s Services desk or Bookmobile and we will give you a replacement game card. Or, Download a paper gamecard here. Q: Our family is going on vacation. Can we still participate in the club?
A: You can register and log your reading online while on vacation as described above, or you can get paper game cards from our website, the Children’s Services desk, or the Bookmobile.
Q: What prizes can my child earn?
A:
Pick up your child’s prizes at the Children’s Services desk or the Bookmobile.
Q: After my child completes the basic club, can we continue in the club for the rest of the summer?
A: You may log an additional 15 or 30 books for up to 2 chances to win a Family Plus membership to Brookfield Zoo.
Q: When will the drawing for the Family Plus membership to Brookfield Zoo take place?
A: The drawing will take place after August 14.
