The Fountaindale Public Library District Bookmobile is on the road! This colorful and familiar sight around Bolingbrook is a library on wheels with books, magazines, audio books, CDs, DVDs, for children, teens, and adults. From September through May, the Bookmobile visits preschools, schools, neighborhood stops, and senior centers. During the summer the Bookmobile travels to neighborhoods, parks, shopping centers, and subdivisions within the village of Bolingbrook. All stops are located within the boundaries of the Fountaindale Public Library District service area.
During the construction of the new library in Bolingbrook, the Bookmobile has scheduled evening stops:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays at the 1st Presbyterian Church on Weber Road, across from Meijer.
The evening Bookmobile hours are 530 - 8 pm. You may request to pick up your library materials at a stop near you - please give us 24 hours notice. You can call the library at 630-685-4150.
The Bookmobile is a state-of-the-art mobile branch of the Fountaindale Public Library District that reaches citizens who do not have convenient access to the library facility. The Bookmobile is a great timesaver for busy people and families on the go.
