School visits from the Fountaindale Bookmobile to Bolingbrook schools provide students with great reading opportunities! The following information will help everyone make the most of your Bookmobile visits.  For any questions, please contact us at 815-328-7925.

• The school will designate one staff person as the contact for the Bookmobile, and if any changes occur in the school schedule due to weather, assemblies or other factors, please call the Bookmobile.
• Please remind students the day before the Bookmobile is due to arrive to bring their books and library cards. When the children bring their cards it makes it much easier for staff to check them out, and as a bonus to the child, they are allowed to check out five items - 1 can be an AV item.  If your child forgets their library card, no items may be checked out.
• Items checked out from the Bookmobile are due in four weeks, or the next Bookmobile visit. If the next scheduled visit falls on a day there is no school, books will be renewed by the library until the next stop. There are no fines on materials checked out at a school stop.
• The Bookmobile staff appreciates everyone’s effort to be on time and maintain order in the Bookmobile while students are visiting it. If students have any questions about materials or the status of their card, please encourage them to ask -- we are here to help!

Special assignments

If you have a class project and will need materials for the whole class, please contact the Bookmobile at 815-328-7925.  One week advance notice is required for this service.

The Fountaindale Public Library District offers a Teacher’s Card to each teacher in our district. Please bring your ID to the Bookmobile and one of the staff will be happy to assist you.
