Lolita Fashion Show & Tea Party, Saturday, February 6

The library will be hosting a Lolita Fashion Show and Tea Party at 2 P.M in Meeting Room A! Please register in advance in order to attend. Have a spot of tea and some sweets while presenters, Molly McKinley and Helen Shih, introduce you to the exciting (and not to mention adorable) world of Lolita Fashion! As you enjoy your tea, they will put on a fashion show as they go through the various styles of Lolita. Light refreshments will be provided. At the end, there will also be a drawing for prizes provided by Dream Princess!

TED2016: Dream Conference Streaming Live at Fountaindale, February 17

Are you interested in this year's TED2016 conference in Vancouver, but can't afford the $8,500 registration fee? Well you're in luck! Fountaindale will be streaming part of the conference live for FREE! Throughout the day on Wednesday, February 17th, you can access four sessions showcasing great thinkers, artists and storytellers from around the country all from the comfort of your library.

Preschool Round-Up, Saturday, February 27

Parents, do you have a child ready to enter preschool? Drop in between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to meet with more than a dozen local preschools and daycare centers all in one place to help you find the right fit for your child. The Will County Health Department will be onsite providing FREE vision and hearing screenings for children AND adults age 3 and up! and several early childhood resource organizations will also be available. Don't miss our prize drawings for teachers, parents and kids! and while you're here, be sure to sign up your child for their very own library card!
