I’m excited to share with you his virtual book talk featuring Carol by Patricia Highsmith. This book—first released as The Price of Salt under the pseudonym Claire Morgan in 1952— is based on a true story plucked from Highsmith’s own life. Carol is a riveting drama of two women from very different backgrounds who find themselves in an unexpected love affair in 1950’s New York. Watch my review, and then check out the book or movie for yourself below.
