The Great Page Race (Grades 6–8)
September 10–October 29, 2018
Ready, Set, Read!
Bolingbrook middle school students, join us for the Great Page Race by reading to earn prizes for your school media center and classroom. The top three schools will win paperback book collections for their media centers. The winning classroom will receive a $100 gift card for a pizza party and a collection of the latest Rebecca Caudill nominees.
How to Participate:
Record the number of pages you read during independent reading time at home and at school. Classroom read-alouds or stories read as a class do not count. If you are reading a graphic novel, please log half the page count. For example, a 300-page graphic novel should be logged as 150 pages.
Online registration and logging will be available below beginning Monday, September 10, or you may pick up a paper reading log from your teacher beginning that day. All pages must be logged online (or your paper log must be turned in to your teacher or the Vortex) by Monday, October 29 at 9 p.m.
