A new doll has just joined the Fountaindale Doll Collection!
Her name is Raquel Reyes, and one of the things that intrigued all the employees in Children’s Services is that she is the granddaughter of one of the historical characters, Samantha. You can see some references to Samantha’s clothing in Raquel’s outfit (both wore outfits made of checkered fabric, and accessories for Raquel include a necklace charm that matches Samantha’s locket).
Raquel comes with a book, The Diary of Raquel Reyes by Angela Cervantes. Angela Cervantes has written several other books in our collection, including one about another American Girl character, Maritza!
