As the Die Cuts – December 2019, Fountaindale Public Library

Attention teachers and youth leaders! Did you know the Children’s Services Department has an Ellison Die Cut machine available for you to complete special projects and bulletin boards? All you have to provide is the paper and the manpower! Please ask our staff to familiarize you with our die presses.

As the colder weather comes, so does the thoughts of the holidays. We have many winter and holiday themed dies in our collection for your projects and displays! We have Christmas trees, lights, a sled, a snowman, mittens, snowflakes, a 3D snowflake, gingerbread men, and a Challah bread die. We also have different sizes of circles you can use to make ornaments and card dies for kids to make homemade cards for family and friends.

As featured in the video below, your kids can make gift boxes with our cube dies or holiday treat bags with our gift bag dies. We even have a gift tag die that has three sizes of tags. Visit the Ellison Education website for more videos and project ideas. If you see something you’re interested in, call the Children’s Services Desk at 630.685.4181 to ask if we have a die that will work for you.

Is there is a theme or project you would like assistance with? Email me, the Ellison expert, at any time. You can request any of the designs from our Ellison collection. Just be sure you complete our request form at least 36 hours before you plan to visit. This ensures we’ll have the machine and dies ready for you.
