ADULT AND TEEN SERVICES SPECIALIST-ADULT, EVENT PROGRAMMING (PART-
We are looking for a highly dynamic and responsible candidate for a part-time Adult Services Specialist position focusing on programming. We want you to join our high-skilled and proactive team! Customer service, readers advisory and technology skills desired. Must be able to work with patrons of all ages, specifically to share books and authors with adults and senior citizens. Spanish speaking is a plus. Bring your creativity, positive attitude and a desire to help others follow their dreams with our Adult and Teen Services Department.

Our monitors provide consistent, gracious and friendly service to internal and external customers. The ideal member of this team will be able to interact positively and professionally while preserving order and protecting the facilities.
We are looking for an individual to perform all duties necessary to provide effective patron access to materials, concentrating on material returns, sorting, shelving, shifting, straightening and weeding. As a member of this team, you will learn to set up carts of materials, shelve on all three floors of our magnificent library and be trained to work with our state-of-the-art Automated Materials Handling system. As a Studio Services Specialist, you will assist our library patrons with their projects, including audio/video production, photography, graphic design, web, coding, music, STEAM/maker, and more. Every day you’ll connect and troubleshoot computer, media production equipment and maker machinery and develop and lead training programs for our patrons. You’ll stretch your creativity and skills, meeting the goals of Studio 300 and serving our Bolingbrook community.
