Who are the Friends?
The Friends of Fountaindale Library serve as community advocates for library services, programs and needs. The Friends provide monetary support to the library through fundraising activities, which help fund new programs, services and materials.
Recent support for the library includes:
- Ice Cream Social
- Summer Adventure prizes
- Great Reading Race and Read-a-Palooza prizes
- 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten prizes
- Winter Reading Challenge prizes
- Rolling carts for our new Library Express Van

How to Join
Please help support your library by becoming a Friend of Fountaindale! To join, fill out our membership form and drop it off at the library, Bookmobile or Library Express Van with your membership dues.
Membership Levels:
- Student: $2 per year
- Senior (60+): $4 per year
- Fountaindale Employee: $4 per year
- Individual: $6 per year
- Family: $10 per year
- Business/Organization: $40 per year
- Lifetime: $100 (one-time payment)
The Friends Book Cellar

Book Cellar Hours:
Tuesday: 10 a.m.– 4:30 p.m.
Thursday: 4–8 p.m.
Sunday: 1–5 p.m.
Visit the Book Cellar in the lower level of the library to purchase gently used books, music CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and other donated items. A smaller selection of items is also available for sale in the Nook, located on the 1st floor next to Meeting Room A.
