In order to help protect our patrons and staff, and in adherence with the state of Illinois’ phase 4 meeting room guidelines, we ask that you please adhere to the following requirements when visiting our building:
Wear a face covering or mask at all times
Maintain social distancing of at least six feet apart
Wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer often
No food or drink inside the library (Please note, our water fountains are turned off, and Brooks Cafe is not open at this time.)
Staff will wipe down furniture and equipment with disinfectant between groups
Reduced capacities and availability for meeting spaces
We have many spaces for groups and individuals to meet, study and create. Some of our spaces require a Fountaindale Library card in good standing and advanced reservation, so be sure to check below for more information.
Our meeting rooms, study rooms and creative spaces are available to cardholders whose accounts are in good standing.
Capacity for each space is determined by room layout and equipment setup. Our meeting rooms have tables and chairs available for multiple room configurations.
Library spaces cannot be used for private social functions such as parties or receptions.
You must arrive within 15 minutes of your reservation start time or your reservation will be canceled.
Reservations must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. To cancel a reservation in our meeting rooms or 3rd floor study rooms, visit My Reservations. To cancel a reservation in our creative spaces, call Studio 300 at 630.685.4260.
