Bolingbrook STEM Association Summer Camp Scholarship Drawing (June 2018), Fountaindale Public Library

Science, technology, engineering and math education (best known as STEM) is crucial to educate and prepare the next generation of the American and global workforce. According to the US Department of Education, STEM jobs are expected to grow at almost double the rate of the national average in the near future, and currently there are not enough adults educated in STEM fields to fill current jobs.

In an effort to support and promote STEM education in our community, The Friends of Fountaindale Library are offering three scholarships to Fountaindale Library cardholders to attend the Bolingbrook STEM Association’s Summer Break STEM Camp running July 16 through July 20. One child in each grade level (PreK–1, 2–5 and 6–8) will be chosen at random and awarded a scholarship to attend the camp for free.

To enter, complete the entry form below or pick up an entry postcard inside the library or on the Bookmobile. All entries must be received by 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2018. The drawing will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 and winners will be notified that same day.

For more information about these camps, please contact the Bolingbrook STEM Association at 630.410.9602 or info@bolingbrookstem.org.

This contest is only open to Fountaindale Public Library cardholders. Fountaindale Library staff, trustees and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
