Early Voting at the LibraryElection Day is fast approaching, but you can save time and skip the crowds by voting early at the library. We are proud to be one of Will county’s many early voting locations. During the early voting period, we invite all Will county residents to come to the library to cast their vote.

If you need election information and want a trusted source, see VOTE411 run by the League of Women Voters. They can help you find your local polling place, check your voter registration, see what’s on your ballot or even find upcoming debates in your area!

The days and times for early voting at Fountaindale Public Library are as follows:

Monday, October 19–Monday, November 2

  • Mondays–Fridays: 8:30 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Saturdays & Sundays: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

While you may come in to vote for the majority of the time the library is open, some of these times may fall outside of regular library hours. During these times, you will not have access to the rest of the building.

If you have any questions about voting while early voting is active, staff will be more than happy to refer you to an election official.

We ask that you do your best to maintain social distancing practices while waiting in line. Bringing your own pen is encouraged but not required.

MAIL-IN BALLOTSEarly Voting at the Library

You may still drop off your mail-in ballots during the early voting period by using our handy drop box on the 1st floor right by the staircase. You cannot leave your mail-in ballots with the early voting clerks; please place them in the drop box.

Please note, the Will County Clerk will be closing all of the drop boxes at libraries on Monday, November 2 at 6 p.m. The drop box will not receive ballots on Election Day. The only drop box that will be open to receive ballots on Election Day will be at the Will County Clerk’s Office in downtown Joliet.
