Students Rebuild World Needs Challenge

Become an “art-ivist” and design a poster to amplify a message that you care about. For every artwork created, the Bezos Family Foundation will donate to programs meeting global needs. Join us in accepting the Students Rebuild Challenge, and share a photo of your poster with us by Friday, May 27.

Students Rebuild has identified five world needs to inspire you as you create: clean oceans, humanitarian aid, hunger relief, overcomeing bias and art activism. For more information visit studentsrebuild.org/worldneeds.

Kindness Day Stories

Kindness Day 2022, Fountaindale Public LibrarySpreading kindness can have a positive impact on a person’s life and inspire others, especially our youth, to be kind to each other. In 2021 we asked students in our community to share their stories of kindness. We collected their stories and published the first Kindness Day Bolingbrook book and eBook. Find a copy now.

Community members also shared their kindness stories and messages in this video from last year’s Kindness Day celebration.

We hope you’re inspired and ready to join us on Saturday, May 14! Happy Kindness Day!
