The north side of our parking lot will be under construction from Monday, August 4 through Tuesday, September 30. During this project, our drive-thru window and parking lot book drop will be unavailable. You are welcome to conveniently pick up your holds or return materials in our lobby, or please use one of our other services listed below.
After this portion of construction is complete, additional work will continue, and we will need to close smaller sections of the parking lot throughout October. Please stay tuned to this webpage for the most current information.
Curbside Service
We will provide temporary curbside service while our drive-thru is closed. To use this service, please designate your pickup location to “Fountaindale Library – Curbside Service” when placing your holds. Once you receive confirmation that your holds are ready for pickup, please call 630.759.2102 to ensure your materials will be ready when you arrive. Upon arrival, pull your vehicle up to one of our curbside pickup spaces (located to the left of our entrance) and call the phone number on the sign. One of our staff members will bring you your holds.
Curbside Pickup Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 9 a.m.–7 p.m.
Friday–Saturday: 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Sunday: noon–4 p.m.
Holds Pickup Lockers
Pick up your holds at your convenience with our Holds Pickup Lockers located just outside our main entrance and at the Bolingbrook Recreation and Aquatic Complex (BRAC). The Holds Pickup Lockers are contactless and can be accessed outside of library hours, so you can pick up your holds when it fits your schedule! At the library, the materials return bins are located to the left of the Holds Pickup Lockers, and the unit at the BRAC also includes a materials return drawer. Please designate your pickup location to “Fountaindale Library – Lockers (On-Site)” or “Fountaindale Library – Lockers (BRAC)” when using this service.
Bookmobile Community Stops
The Bookmobile is a full-service mobile branch of our library. Our dedicated Outreach Services team provides scheduled stops around the community that are open to the public. To pick up your holds on the Bookmobile, designate your pickup location to “Fountaindale Library – Outreach ” when placing your holds.
Donations
The Friends of Fountaindale Library will not accept large donations (more than 10 books) from August 1 through October 6. Please bring small donations to the Circulation Desk in our lobby.
