Rokus are streaming players that provide access to content across hundreds of channels. We’ve paired them with our mobile hotspots to create a seamless streaming experience on several popular platforms, including Disney+, Netflix, Hulu and HBO Max. Be sure to also explore the Vudu app for digital copies of many of the movies in our physical collection.
Borrowing a Roku:
- Visit the 2nd Floor Service Desk to check out or pick up a Roku on hold.
- Rokus must be returned to the 2nd Floor Service Desk.
- The loan period for Rokus is 14 days, and they are eligible for one renewal as long as no one has a hold on it.
- A $25 fee will be assessed if returned to any other desk or any of our book drops.
- Roku data will be disabled if the device is overdue.
Important Information:
- Power on the hotspot before connecting the Roku to your TV. The Roku will automatically connect to the
hotspot once both are powered on. Do not connect the Roku to your home Wi-Fi. - Rokus checked out from Outreach Services (the Bookmobile) do not include a hotspot or movies on the Vudu app.
