BTS Bang Bang Con (April 17–18, 2020), Fountaindale Public LibraryBTS is back at it again… attempting to break the internet while finding ways to give back to their fans. Earlier this year BTS had to postpone their Map of the Soul 7 world tour, and understandably, fans were saddened by the news but also continued to show their support for the group. After announcing the cancellation of their tour’s kickoff concerts in Seoul, South Korea, BTS fans (better known as ARMYs) in South Korea showed their love and support for the group by donating their refunded money to help with the COVID-19 crisis. The Korea Herald and Korea Times both reported that the BTS Army has helped raise 400 million SKW ($333,000 USD) to the Korea Disaster Relief Association. BTS member Suga also donated 100 million SKW to relief efforts, and since then, ARMYs worldwide have made donations in the group’s name to various relief efforts.

BTS has continued to make every effort to connect with fans during the pandemic. Earlier this month, they appeared on James Corden’s Homefest, performing their popular song Boy with luv. They’ve also posted pictures and short videos on social media urging fans to remain at home.

BTS has just announced a home concert tour they have dubbed Bang Bang Con, that will stream their past concert footage on their BANGTANTV YouTube channel. Their online concert tour will kick off on Saturday, April 18 at noon KST—Friday, April 17 at 10 p.m. CST—with 2015 BTS Live on Stage and conclude on Sunday, April 19—Saturday, April 18 CST—with BTS World Tour ‘Love Yourself’ Seoul. BTS fans can enjoy the excitement of these past concerts from the comfort of their home. The response from fans has been overwhelmingly positive, and this will be a great opportunity for many fans to experience their concerts as grabbing a ticket can be much like winning the lottery.
