Community Storytimes (Summer 2019), Fountaindale Public Library

Enjoy special storyimes out in the community all summer long, including our popular Story Strolls in the Park. These events are for children of all ages unless otherwise noted. Preschoolers and kindergarteners must be accompanied by an adult during all events.

Panera Bread Milk & Cookies Storytime

Thursdays, June 6, July 11 & August 1 9:30–10:30 a.m.
Panera Bread, 855 E. Boughton Road
Enjoy free milk and a cookie while we read a story and play with puppets, music and movement.
Space is limited; registration required. Registration opens two weeks prior to each event date. Call Laura Didier at 630.685.4167 for questions.

Storytime at the Museum

Thursdays, June 20, July 18 & August 15, 9:30–10:30 a.m.
Bolingbrook Historical Museum, 444 E. Briarcliff Road
Spark your imagination with stories, songs, fun and a take-home craft. After storytime, stick around to explore the museum and learn more about our village. Storytime includes free museum admission. Drop in

IKEA Storytime

Thursdays, June 27, July 25 & August 22, 9:30–10:30 a.m.
IKEA, 750 E. Boughton Road
Join us for storytime at IKEA! Enjoy juice and cookies while we read stories using puppets, music and movement. Storytime takes place on the 2nd floor near the restaurant. Drop in

Story Stroll in the Park

Mondays, 10–11 a.m.
Read a story while you stroll! Enjoy activities and read pages from a featured picture book posted at each station along the path. The Bookmobile will be near the start of the trail so you can sign up for Summer Adventure and log one hour of reading for attending. Please note: Story Strolls are weather permitting. In case of inclement weather the Story Stroll will be canceled.
