I’ve been scouring our shelves and digital collection to discover exciting new movies and books to share with our patrons. I recently watched the 1976 drama Network (Rated R), starring Faye Dunaway, William Holden, Peter Finch and Robert DuVall and directed by Sidney Lumet. The movie focuses on a television newscaster’s mental breakdown which ultimately turns him into a celebrity when the network tries to profit from his illness.
