Find Us in the Community (Summer 2021), Fountaindale Public LibraryIt’s been a long 15 months since we’ve been able to hold in-person events, but as we move into summer, we’re looking forward to getting together outdoors once again! Join us all summer long for exciting events out in the community. All of the events listed below are for children of all ages and do not require registration unless otherwise noted. And don’t forget to sign up for Summer Adventure starting June 1 so you can earn points and get prizes for attending these events!

Storytimes at the Museum
9:30 a.m.
Bolingbrook Historical Museum, 444 E. Briarcliff Road
Ages 2–6 with an adult
Join us for outdoor stortimes in the garage next to the Bolingbrook Historical Museum. Miss Laura will spark your child’s imagination with stories, songs and other fun activities. After storytime, learn more about our village as you browse through the exhibits. Registration required.

Story Stroll in the Park

Bulldog Park (Behind the library)
Enjoy physical activity, time outdoors in nature, literacy and family time with this self-guided activity. Pages from the featured picture book will be posted on signs along the outdoor path from Monday morning until Tuesday afternoon. As you stroll, you will follow from page to page and read the story.
