Do you like soup? Something special is cooking in Mrs. C’s big soup pot, and it smells delicious! In November, come to the Children’s Department for supplies to make your own bowl of soup craft to display on our bulletin board. We’re cooking up a worldwide favorite called Lentil soup.

On Wednesday, November 22, from 1 to 3 p.m., join Mrs. C for a special “soup making” program after watching an interactive puppet show called “Stone Dal.” And don’t forget to test your sense of smell at the Smell-O-Rama!

If you enjoy cooking like Mrs. C, you should check out our eResource, CultureGrams. There, you can find yummy recipes and explore new countries and cultures through their local food.
