Kid and Teen Librarian-in-Training
Join our librarian-in-training program, where kids (grades K–5) and teens (grades 6–12) will create a special library display to share their favorite library finds with their friends and community. Each participant will be assigned a month to shop our shelves for their best-loved titles for their displays. Participants will also have their pictures taken for use in library promotions.

Examples of Library Book Displays
Kid and Teen Librarian-in-Training participants will get library swag, a free book and a behind-the-scenes experience at the library. Special signage and bookmarks will be created to promote their displays, and their picks will also be featured on our website and social media. Teens will earn up to two hours of volunteer credit for participating in the program.
