Join us Wednesdays at Central Park (behind Annerino Community Center) and Fridays at different parks for stories, activities and Bookmobile visits. Every stop counts toward your Summer Adventure—earn points just by showing up, exploring and enjoying nature.

Amazing Adventures at Annerino

June 3: Once Upon a Read with Rapunzel
Come sing and dance with Rapunzel from Tangled. Dress up like your favorite princess for a picture after a special storytime. Please note, this event ends at 12:30 p.m.

June 10: Kids’ Karaoke and Sing-Along
Join us for a kids’ karaoke and sing-along party! Sing your heart out and dance while we play your favorite songs!

Learn about the magic of butterflies! Your imagination will take flight as we create, explore and more! This program is in partnership with Hidden Oaks Nature Center.

June 24: Magic of Holi: India’s Festival of Colors
Step into a world bursting with color, joy and celebration! Uncover the stories behind Holi and then join a lively, easy-to-follow dance inspired by Holi traditions, blending culture, movement and pure joy!

July 1: Game Zone
Challenge your friends to life-size Connect Four, hurdles, a jumbo egg-and-spoon race and more fun games. Discover your inner artist with chalk and coloring pages.

July 8: Waterworks
Beat the heat as we play in the water! Discover what sinks or floats, wacky water games and more. Plan on getting soaked.

July 15: Miss Jamie’s Farm Music Show
Sing, dance, laugh and learn about life down on the farm with Miss Jamie and her puppet animal friends!

July 22: Find the Dragon 4D Experience
Do you have what it takes to find the dragon? Use all of your senses in this interactive adventure story.

July 29: Art in the Park
Let’s create beautiful works of art with paint and chalk. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Visit your local park to enjoy summer fun with your friends and neighbors! Enjoy the Bolingbrook Park District’s trackless train and NEW portable climbing wall and slide, and be sure to visit our Bookmobile for storytimes, crafts and games. Drop in; no registration required.
