Say hello to our newest collection: Beginner Book Bundles!

Beginning readers can now check out a bundle of books and treats, specially selected by our librarians just for them! Each bundle contains four easy books about popular subjects like Friends & Family, Wild Things and Surprise. To sweeten the deal, each bag has a color changing pencil, a bookmark and a toy—all to keep!

What’s a Beginning Reader? A beginning reader is typically in grades K–2. They understand letter sounds, can read sight words and are starting to decode words and sentences on their own. The reading levels for beginning readers are typically less than 600 (lexile leveling) and between letters A–M (Fountas & Pinnell leveling).

Browse our Beginner Book Bundles on the metal display cart in front of the Children’s Services desk to find your perfect bundle and take one home today!
