Can’t get to the library? We are where you are! Our Bookmobile is a full-service mobile branch of our library that provides scheduled stops around the community at convenient locations such as Target, IKEA, Best Buy and The Promenade. At our Bookmobile, you can:
- Sign up for a library card.
- Check out popular materials for all ages, including regular and large print books, audiobooks, movies and video games.
- Check out memory care kits, Wi-Fi hotspots and Rokus.
- Speak with an outreach staff member for reading recommendations, reference services and more.
- Return and renew library materials.
- Pick up your holds.
Also, every month we provide a different program on the Bookmobile. So join us this fall for activities and prizes for the whole family. We hope to see you soon on the Bookmobile!
September: Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month on the Bookmobile. We’re featuring our Mango Languages eResource, as well as children’s picture books and graphic novels in Spanish. While on the Bookmobile, listen to some fun music in Spanish and look for a few surprises!
October: Spooky Fun
What’s better than some spooky fun as the nights grow longer? For the kids, we have a large selection of Goosebumps and other scary books. Then, if you’re brave enough, pick up your favorite scary movie to watch on a cold, dark night. Beware! You might go home with a creepy, crawly, glow-in-the-dark surprise when you visit us on the Booo-mobile this October.
November: Everything Pickles
It’s everything pickles this month as we celebrate National Pickle Day! Come vote for your favorite pickle, guess the number of pickles in the jar, learn a STEM activity using pickles and check out a variety of books, featuring…you guessed it, pickles! It’s really a big “dill” this month on the Bookmobile.
