The Bookmobile serves Bolingbrook residents of all ages! Stop by to browse our materials at one of our community stops, and join us for these special events for the whole family. We have prepared a plethora of activities with our outreach patrons in mind and we hope you take advantage of what we have to offer. Spice Kits on the Bookmobile

Add some spice to your life with a new spice kit each month on the Bookmobile! Each kit includes a small sample of the featured spice, a suggested recipe and more. You can also check out cookbooks and digital cooking magazines, or take a journey through our CultureGrams eResource for lots of fun recipes! Pick up your spice kit, while supplies last.

Pizza Party with Pete the Cat

Do you like reading and singing along with Pete the Cat? We do, too! Join us on the Bookmobile for activities based on the book Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party by Kim Dean. Enter our giveaway for a gift card from Nancy’s Pizza. It’ll be a groovy good time for the whole family!

National Library Outreach Day

Celebrate National Library Outreach Day in front of the library with our Bookmobile and Library Express Van. Enjoy music, make a button, participate in a storytime and spin the wheel to win free books and cool prizes! Meet our Outreach team and learn about our services, such as Home Delivery Service, resources for teachers and students, special programs, Memory Care Kits and more!

Nature Explorers

Hidden Oaks Nature Center, 419 Trout Farm Rd

Join us for hands-on STEAM and nature activities at the newly renovated Hidden Oaks Nature Center. Check out the interactive fish and turtle displays, take part in a scavenger hunt, water-measuring activities and more. It’s fun for the whole family! Make sure you visit the Bookmobile while you’re there!
