Can’t get to the library? We are where you are! Our Bookmobile is a full-service, wheelchair-accessible mobile branch of our library that provides scheduled stops around the community at convenient locations such as Target, IKEA, Best Buy and The Promenade.
At our Bookmobile, you can:
- Sign up for a library card.
- Check out popular materials for all ages, including regular and large print books, audiobooks, movies and video games.
- Check out memory care kits, Wi-Fi hotspots and Rokus.
- Speak with an outreach staff member for reading recommendations, reference services and more.
- Return and renew library materials.
- Pick up your holds.
Also, every month we provide a different program on the Bookmobile. So join us this winter for activities and prizes for the whole family. We hope to see you soon on the Bookmobile!
December: Month of Giving
December is National Giving Month. Help us collect items for the Micro Pantry by donating a non-perishable food item at the Bookmobile during the month of December. Enjoy a treat from us as a thank you for your warm generosity!
January: It’s Soup Month!
Did you know that January is National Soup Month? It’s the perfect month to enjoy a bowl of soup and keep the winter chills away. Visit us on the Bookmobile this January to enter our giveaway for a soup cookbook and to decorate your own Andy Warhol-inspired soup can.
February: Cozy up to a Good Book
Brr, it’s cold outside! Don’t miss our special giveaway this month, perfect for snuggling up with a good book. Visit us on the Bookmobile this month to pick up some popular titles and grab a cozy Fountaindale blanket, while supplies last.
